54 vs 18
Everyone says how horrible the winters are in Kazakhstan, but Shymkent is in the very southern part of Kaz. It was 54 degrees there yesterday. It was 18 degrees here in central Illinois! Yet another reason, I'd rather be in Shymkent than here. The main reason, of course, is the adoption, but I am getting really tired of below freezing temperatures.

Oh man! I had no idea it was that warm there. That is definitely a BONUS. :)
I know what you mean (although it wasn't quite as cold here in Maryland). I spent a good bit of time yesterday shoveling a snow/ice combination off my driveway. Yuck.
Whoa....pretty cold! We had snow here in VA & I shoveled snow for the first time :)
I can't believe how warm it was in Shymkent. Crazy. But like you said it's another reason to want to go to Kaz!

I guess it is warmer in Shymkent right now that it is on the Outer Banks. Yesterday's high was 40. I am so ready for warmer weather!!!!
I hope you hear something soon!!!!!
