Day 5

We arrived at the Baby house at a few minutes before 10 am. The girl's group was still having their mid morning snack at a little picnic table in one of the play areas. Big sister spotted me right away. I don't know how she had been before then, but she was very active. Little sister saw me, but had no reaction. She is a tough little cookie.

I got them 2 wooden puzzles at the toy store at the Mega mall. They were a hit. Neighter could quite get the pieces back in their spots exactly as the puzzles were probably little too old for them, but Big sister came close. Little sister enjoyed putting all the pieces on top of the board and then turning the puzzle board over and watching them all fall. She did this repeatedly.

I brought some hats and clothes to try on today. Little sister was NOT at all sure she liked the hat. Big sister looks like she is going to wear 12 months as the 18 months were way to big. Little sister probably wears a 9 months. I haven't actually tried to change their clothes yet as that probably would not make Little sister happy.

Big sister was in motion most of the time today. Her dress is the same one Little sister had on earlier in the week. It was small on Big sister, but she was too busy to notice.

They have nap time at 11am. I got to have them today from 10 to about 11:20 or 20 minutes into nap time. Little sister needed some hugs and to be held the last 20 minutes of the visit. Big sister wanted her share too so we all sat together.

She always has such a serious face. I've gotten a few smiles, but they are rare. I now have to wait until Monday until I can see them again. I miss them already.

I thought they were adorable in their little hats! I’m glad they liked the puzzles - they will probably love them for a long time to come. We’ll try to keep busy this weekend to help the time pass quickly.
