This is the living room. It has a sofa, chair and a nice entertainment center with TV and DVD player. Unfortunatley, the DVD player is for DVDs zoned in russia and not the US, but I can play DVDs on my computer so it is not a big deal. The french doors lead to a sunroom.

This is looking into the living room from the entry hall. The apartment has solid wood floors and looks like it was just remodeled. The best thing is the AC unit on the wall. Yeah AC!

The bathroom is very big and very american. The white spot is just my flash reflecting on the tile.

There is a small wash machine in the bathroom. No dryer, but things dry in a matter of hours here so it is really not needed. I have a clothes line to hang things on in the bathroom. There is open porch with a clothes line also, but there is a nest of swallows(or some other neat looking bird) out there so I use the inside one.
This is the sunroom. There are french doors in the living room that you could open to this room if the temperature was nicer outside. I keep the door to the kitchen/sun room closed to conserve AC. The day bed out here would be nice in the spring or fall.
The kitchen opens into the sunroom. It has a stove and microwave. There is a table in here and one in the sunroom.
The refrigrerator is brand new and is in the sun room. Just to the left of the refrig is the door to the open porch.
All the dishes are china so no plastic cups or glasses, just china tea cups. There were 2 huge pans so I bought a smaller pan to cook in while I am here. The big ones took forever to heat up.
The bedroom has a wardrobe/dresser combo, bed, chair and ironing board/iron in it. It overlooks a busy street, but I am on the 5th floor so it is not noisey. Abby counted the steps to the apartment yesterday- 67 steps not counting landings! Thanks Abby now I know just how darn many stairs I have to climb each day!
The bed is a kaz bed which means it is very hard and low to the ground. they have comforters/pads to use to make it softer, but they don't help much. Overall, it is a very nice apartment. Much nicer than I was expecting and I am thrilled to have the AC.

Sorry about the stairs thing but I was curious because there seemed to be so many. Your apartment is very nice (and fortunately not on a scary alley). I can't tell you how relieved I was to find out that I had AC. I don't know how people can live with out it.

Julie-
Great to see the pictures of the apartment. The stairs sound tough. I had trouble with three flights. Abby is in better shape than I am.
It also sounds like you are a more adventurous eater and getting Abby to try something new things.
